Kol
Currently in development, Kol is a unique instrument that explores our relationship to the light emanating from fire, and the qualities of that light that draw us near.
Kol is an LED lantern that captures the life cycle of burning wood as it evolves from a fresh yellow flame to a hot blue ember. A subtle random motion of this “flame” communicates a quiet quality which we have not seen captured in any other electronic product.
